Activity Camp Coach

Salary: £12.36 -12.61
Job Type: Part-time, Seasonal (but ongoing throughout the year)

About Us:
We are seeking a passionate and energetic Activity Camp Coaches to join our team at Cheltenham Activity Camps. As a key member of our staff, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the success of our activity camps and providing a memorable experience for all participants.

Cheltenham Activity Camps are set in the Cheltenham College Sports Centre and sports grounds, run by highly qualified and experienced staff. Cheltenham Activity Camps provide a fun filled environment for children to develop their interest, understanding and enjoyment of a variety of games and sports.

Responsibilities:
Assist in planning and delivering engaging and age-appropriate activities for camp participants
Supervise and ensure the safety of all camp attendees during activities
Provide support to the Senior Coaches and Camp Managers
Offer guidance and encouragement to camp attendees to help them develop new skills and build confidence
Assist with setting up and cleaning up activity areas
Communicate effectively with camp attendees, parents, and fellow staff members


Person Specification:


Previous experience working with children in a childcare, seasonal, or educational setting is desirable
Basic knowledge of first aid and emergency procedures, or a willingness to undertake first aid training
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Enthusiasm for outdoor activities and sports
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Valid DBS check or willingness to obtain one
