We are seeking to appoint a part-time Library Assistant to work in the prestigious Chatfeild-Roberts Library at Cheltenham College. The Chatfeild-Roberts Library is at the heart of College life, supporting pupils both academically and pastorally.
The post holder will be required to work 28 hours and 45 minutes per week (Monday to Friday) during College’s term time (33 weeks per year).
The team consists of a full-time College Librarian who, in turn, is supported by 3 part-time Library Assistants in ensuring the efficient organisation, management and administration of the Library, allowing for effective teaching and learning at Cheltenham College.
Applicants should have excellent interpersonal and communication skills as the post-holder will be the first point of contact in assisting staff and students alike in the use of the Library and its full range of services, ensuring it is a welcoming and inclusive space for all.
