Maintenance Manager

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Maintenance Manager to lead our Maintenance Team in a newly formed role, at a very exciting time for the business.

Reporting to the Head of Operations, the Farm Park Maintenance Manager will work within the Maintenance Team to oversee the day-to-day upkeep of play equipment, buildings, fixtures and fittings at Cotswold Farm Park. This is a role based largely outdoors with a varied and wide – ranging scope of work. We would prefer this candidate to have an Electrical Bias to undertake minor electrical works as part of their role. We have a small and friendly team working in a busy, customer facing environment.

Main Responsibilities

To oversee the delivery of all reactive & preventative requirements within the Cotswold Farm Park and in wider areas as required. To maintain excellent standards of site presentation including and not limited to:

• Manage the Groundcare and Mowing schedule, to include mowing, strimming, leaf clearing, weeding and spraying.
• Lead & supervise a team responsible for daily reactive maintenance duties, groundcare and event build and break.
• Ensure safe operation of equipment and use of appropriate PPE as required.
• Undertake a wide range of preventative and reactive maintenance tasks.
• To undertake maintenance tasks including basic painting, plumbing, play equipment repairs, carpentry, doors, equipment and fixtures.
• Building and deconstructing temporary event or activity facilities.
• Assist with event delivery, which can include set up, stewarding, and break down.
• To carry out routine inspections and checks.
• Assist with maintenance work on the wider Farm and Estate as required.
• Take reasonable care of items of equipment used to carry out tasks, including general cleanliness and advising on faults and any need for maintenance or replacement goods.
• Ensure a 7 day cover is provided for the Cotswold Farm Park, and ensure that duty staff are appropriately trained and equipped to deal with issues as they arise.
• Ensure a robust handover system is in place so that team members are working to a plan and other managers on site are aware of the status of work requests.

This is a physically demanding role, working in an outdoor environment and covering a large physical area on foot. Regular manual handling will be required.

Essential

Minimum 3 years’ experience in Building Maintenance, Reactive & Planned

Experienced in using Microsoft and CAFM software packages

Good working knowledge of Health and Safety Legislation

Driving License

Experience in leading/supervising a team including contractors and sole traders

Desirable

18th Edition Electrical Qualification
