START DATE: as soon as possible
PAY: £11.44 per hour
PERMANENT
DAILY TIMES: Monday-Thursday 7am-4pm, Friday 7am-1pm

Hydraulic Fitter
Our established client, a local engineering company, are currently seeking an Hydraulic Fitter to join their team. The individual will be responsible for installation, maintenance and repairs related to hydraulic equipment and components.
The role:
• Building and testing hydraulic rams (2T to 10T)
• Building and testing of power packs
• Servicing hydraulic pumps, rams, power packs and jacking beams
• End of line testing, diagnosing, checking and setting mechanical systems
• Use of hand tools
• Ensure all hydraulic systems and equipment comply with safety regulations and standards
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance, repairs and inspections
The candidate:
• Have hydraulic system knowledge
• Experience as a Hydraulic Fitter is advantageous
• Ability to weld is beneficial but not essential
• Be adaptable and able to work in other areas
• Good general knowledge of engineering processes
• Due to location access to transport is preferred
