At GCH, we’re more than just a housing provider — we’re a people-first organisation committed to making a real difference in our community. We value collaboration, inclusivity, and innovation and you’ll be empowered to grow, contribute meaningfully, and help shape a better future for residents across Gloucestershire.

We’re now seeking a Capital Contracts Manager – someone to oversee the successful delivery of allocated capital and planned revenue investment projects from procurement of contracts to completion. You’ll operate as an expert for GCH, providing technical building support and advice to the team and managing one-off and specialist contracts and oversee the delivery of large adaptation work, legal disrepair, large one-off projects, decent homes, retrofit and decarbonisation activities.

Delivering one-off and major projects to upgrade or improve the association’s housing stock and ensuring the proposed improvements are delivered in the most efficient way, you’ll be the lead Officer in Contract Management for Planned Works from design, procurement, delivery, and implementation and be responsible for CDM compliance for the team.

You’ll support the Asset and Sustainability Manager on all contract and/or commercial issues and disputes and be responsible for allocated budgets, budget profiling, monitoring expenditure and reporting on monthly performance in relation to spend and works completed. Taking accountability for all information added to the Asset Database, you will ensure that all GCH properties are maintained to Government Decent Homes standard, through the delivery of capital and cyclical programmes.
