About the Role
Pertemps is currently recruiting for Chilled Warehouse Operatives to join a busy and fast-paced warehouse team in Tewkesbury. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys physical work, has great attention to detail, and thrives in a team environment.
Youll be working in a chilled (temperature-controlled) warehouse environment where youll play a key role in picking and preparing customer orders, maintaining stock rotation, and ensuring safe loading of vehicles for distribution.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately pick and prepare customer orders using order tickets
- Complete stock rotation and replenishment tasks
- Load delivery vehicles securely and safely for transportation
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment
- Follow all company health and safety policies and procedures
- Report incidents or hazards promptly
- Carry out any other duties as directed by supervisors
What Were Looking ForEssential:
- Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Strong attention to detail and numeracy skills
- Able to work independently and take initiative
- Comfortable working to tight deadlines in a chilled environment
- Flexible with shift patterns and able to work weekends if needed
Desirable:
- Previous experience in a warehouse, food production, or distribution role
- Forklift truck license (or willingness to be trained)
- Understanding of health & safety and food hygiene regulations
Full training will be provided for the right candidate, including equipment use and safe working practices.
