Plant Mechanic / Forklift Engineer - Keith Rhodes

Job description
Based at our friendly and expanding yard in Gloucester the successful applicant will report to the workshop manager.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a busy workshop supporting our fast-growing machinery installations and equipment hire company.
We’re looking for someone smart and switched on. Someone who thrives on high standards and attention to detail.
Job Type: Full-time
Schedule:
- We’d ideally like 50 hours of your time per week 07:00 – 17:30 Monday – Friday.
- Overtime hours may be available.
- We’re looking for the successful candidate to start immediately.
Experience:
- Minimum 2 years in forklift or plant maintenance and servicing
- Have a flexible approach and strong work ethic.
- Be focused on delivering an excellent standard of work independently as well as part of a team in a fast moving and dynamic workshop environment. Good communication skills and interpersonal skills.
- Full driving licence (Forklift licence desirable but not essential)
Roles and Responsibilities to include:
- maintaining our fleet of gas forklifts from 2T to 40T
- responding to breakdowns
- assisting the workshop Manager in maintaining other transport if/when necessary
- assisting colleagues in maintaining a clean and well stocked workshop
