What are the day-to-day responsibilities of the role:
* Manage small projects from conception to completion
* Ensure that all assigned projects comply with relevant standards and regulatory requirements.
* Provide project expenditure forecasts and contribute to budget planning.
* Perform chemical/process engineering design, with a focus on safety and efficiency.
* Actively participate in site safety initiatives and provide support for incident investigations.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date process safety plant information.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* A degree in Chemical Engineering (or similar)
* Experience working in multidisciplinary teams, ideally with an understandng of project management/planning
* Good organization skills with the ability to manage and prioritise workload
* A proactive approach to safety and a commitment to continuous improvement.
