Mowgli Street Food Ltd Jobs in Gloucestershire

The purpose of Mowgli is to enrich the lives of the cities its go to for its Teams, Guests and Communities. Mowgli’s Founder, Nisha Katona, had a nagging obsession to build an eatery serving the kind of food Indians eat at home and on the streets, and in 2014 gave up her 20 year career as a barrister to build Mowgli Street Food. The first Bold Street restaurant opened in October 2014, followed by Mowgli Manchester a year later. It now stands 11 sites strong, across 9 cities with Cheltenham being the 13th to join the growing family this summer.

Mowgli’s culture is built on making sure each team member feels Purposeful, Nourished and Fulfilled. Mowgli does this by building close knit teams, committing itself to a strong work-life balance, making sure everyone is happy and driven, and supporting each team member like a family. A long career in Mowgli is fiercely important, so with the right attitude, anyone can make it happen.

The Mowgli Trust is the charitable limb of the restaurants and remains a central pillar to Mowgli’s ethos. Within each of the cities that Mowgli goes to, each restaurant raises money for a carefully selected local charity. Through £1 discretionary donations added onto the end of every bill, Mowgli supports life-changing services, funds innovative research, and helps charities provide specialist care for the communities that it goes to. Mowgli thrives on strong community and it is down to the teams, the guests and the cities it travels to, that strong relationships are built, and life-changing opportunities follow.
