Compliance Administrator

As we continue to grow, we are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Compliance Administrator to join our team.

As a Compliance Administrator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our company adheres to all applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies. You will work closely with various departments to assess compliance risks, develop, and implement compliance procedures, and monitor compliance activities across the organisation. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of regulatory requirements and excellent organisational skills.

Responsibilities:

Compliance Management

* Maintain Class People's external "REC Audited Education" status.
* Administrate and manage the candidate registration process (pipeline) within timescale expectations.
* Providing regular reporting on compliance activity and performance to the SMT
* Managing DBS application system
* Developing best practice and implementing best practice across the business
* Maintain and update procedural documentation for candidate registration.

Expiry Monitoring

* Coordinating expiry of compliance checks and updating accordingly
* Ensuring robust management of expiries to ensure Class People fulfils its safeguarding obligations.
* Producing a report and re-checking candidates who have not worked for 3 months, or it has been 3 months since they registered

Policies and Procedures

* Responsible for ensuring that each candidate working for Class People is compliant and in line with Department for Education safeguarding policies and procedures.
* Continued monitoring and an implementation of changing legislation and ensure Class People display a proactive approach to compliance in the marketplace.
* Responsible for developing and updating Company policies and procedures
* Work with the local authority designated officer for safeguarding for any allegations management procedures that arise

Candidate Support

* Sourcing/attracting candidates from a variety of sources (Job boards, Facebook, LinkedIn, referrals etc)
* Interviewing potential candidates
* Contacting candidates for work
* Initiate, manage and develop candidate relationships

* Provide support to other team members in the achievement of their duties, as required.
* To write, place and update job adverts
* Provide first line support for candidate enquiries.
* General administrative duties

Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, law, or a related field.
* Preferably proven experience working in a compliance or HR -related role.
* Strong understanding of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
