From September 2026, we require a part time classroom teacher with enthusiasm and flexibility to join our staff team. This position will be a job share in our mixed-age Key Stage 2 classroom, job sharing with our Head of School. The post is for two days a week with PPA paid in addition.
Applicants should have an excellent understanding of the primary curriculum. They should have a proven record of good/outstanding teaching, together with a commitment to high standards, both across the curriculum and in terms of their relationships with children. An interest or desire to lead Reading, or an interest in SEND/ SEND experience is desirable but not essential.
As our school is a Church of England (controlled) School, we place great emphasis on our Christian vision and the core values which underpin this. We would expect applicants to be supportive of these.
In 2022, the school was inspected by Ofsted and was graded ‘Good’; our latest Church School Inspection in 2026 graded us as ‘Judgment 1’.
Bisley Blue Coat C of E Primary School is currently working in partnership with the Heartwood Federation. This post would be contracted to Bisley Blue Coat C of E Primary School.
