Are you looking for an opportunity to use your teaching skills within a personalised, supportive education setting?
At Wings 4 Growth, we give teachers time to understand their learners, develop bespoke curricula and see the difference their teaching makes.
We support children and young people aged 4–25 with a range of additional and complex needs. Our approach recognises their strengths, interests and aspirations, creating meaningful opportunities to build confidence and achieve.
Our commitment to you: no more than three learners
No teacher at Wings 4 Growth is responsible for a caseload of more than three young people.
Your responsibilities will include planning, teaching, monitoring development and reporting for those learners. We keep caseloads small because meeting complex needs requires time, attention and thoughtful preparation.
You will have support from Teaching Assistants and fellow teachers. This is a commitment we make to our teaching staff, giving you the opportunity to apply your expertise within a collaborative team.
Our current teachers tell us they find working with Wings 4 Growth less demanding than a typical school environment. Small caseloads and shared support help them focus on individual learners and the quality of their teaching.
Teachers at different career stages are welcome
You may be newly qualified, have two or four years’ experience, or bring many years of classroom practice. We are willing to work with teachers at different stages of their careers who share our approach and demonstrate the skills needed for the role.
We welcome primary, secondary and further education backgrounds. You do not need to have taught across our entire age range.
Previous SEND or alternative provision experience is valuable, but we also welcome teachers from mainstream settings who can demonstrate inclusive practice and a willingness to develop.
What you will do

• Design and deliver bespoke curricula around individual goals.

• Monitor development and maintain clear, respectful progress reports.
• Contribute to reviews with families and other professionals.
• Support appropriate next steps into school, college, training, employment or greater independence.
Where you could work
Centre-based: Join our primary group or secondary team, with learning taking place at the centre and in the community.
