Are you an enthusiastic, passionate ECT ready to begin your teaching journey in a school where you will be truly supported, valued, and encouraged to grow? If so, we would be delighted to hear from you.
We are looking for a warm, dedicated Early Career Teacher to join our wonderful school community and teach our mixed Reception/Year 1 class. If you’ve experienced a range of placements, especially across EYFS and KS1,you’ll feel right at home here. Our Robins Class benefits from smaller class sizes, with a maximum of 20 children, allowing you to build strong relationships and make a real difference from day one.
This is a fantastic opportunity to shape the very start of a child’s learning journey. You’ll be guiding children as they transition from nursery and pre-school, helping them grow in confidence and curiosity. Alongside nurturing our Reception children, you will also play a key role in supporting and stretching our Year 1 pupils, ensuring they are fully prepared academically, socially, and emotionally for the expectations of Year 2. Your teaching will help them secure the essential foundations in phonics, early reading, writing, and maths so they can move forward with confidence.
We’re looking for someone who brings energy, creativity, and a love of early learning. You’ll have experience teaching phonics and be excited to create a rich, playful learning environment both indoors and outdoors. Most importantly, you’ll be joining a team that will champion you, mentor you, and celebrate your successes as you take your first steps into teaching.
If you’re ready to begin your career in a school where you can grow, feel supported, and make a meaningful impact, we would love to welcome you to Coberley.
