We are recruiting for a Teacher of Mathematics to join the successful and thriving Maths Department here at Cleeve from September 2026. We are very flexible regarding full-time or part-time.
ECTs are very welcome and encouraged to apply and our provision for new members of staff is strong, particularly driven by our emphasis on career development. We are a teacher training lead hub school, which brings opportunity and mirrors being a centre of excellence for staff training. On appointment, you will be supported by a successful Head of Department, and a broader team of professionals, depending on your stage of career development. We pride ourselves on being the school of choice for ECTs.
If we appoint an ECT then we would pay your salary over the Summer break, before starting in September. We would also consider starting you on a higher M-scale point than M1.
The potential applicants would be able to demonstrate experience of effective teaching and learning strategies, and a willingness to contribute to the whole staff team. Flexibility and the ability to innovate are desirable qualities, along with energy and capacity for hard work. The successful candidate will have a good understanding of what effective Teaching & Learning looks like for children of all abilities and be committed to enabling all students to access the curriculum in order to fulfil their academic potential.
