A great opportunity has arisen for enthusiastic, flexible and committed Teaching Partner (Teaching Assistant) to join our team at Kingsway Primary School. We are looking to welcome teacher partners who share our determination to become exceptional. We are looking to appoint a class-based Teaching Partner for 27.50 hours per week (plus 2 hours 25 minutes extra pay for breaks), working in a reception class with hours distributed between 8.30am and 3.30pm daily, term time only, who has high expectations and who will engage in our school curriculum, values and vision to enable our children to receive the best school environment.
This post will suit candidates, who are passionate about EYFS, be flexible, creative, caring, and committed to providing the best learning opportunities. You will have strong communication skills as well as previous experience of working with children. The successful applicant will be required to work closely with teachers, parents, the SENDCO and other outside agencies.

We are looking for someone who:
• Is passionate about working with children
• Be able to conduct and support learning in both 1:1, small groups and through play-based activities
• Is focused on helping children to achieve targets and secure progress
• Be a team player who is enthusiastic, hard-working, caring, flexible and self-motivated
• Can establish strong professional/relationships with children whilst setting firm boundaries
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Have a good understanding of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities
• A passion for working in the Early Years including outdoor learning
• Practical behaviour management experience
• Is supportive and keen to work as a part of a dedicated team
• Aspires to be exceptional in their practice
• An NVQ/QCF Level 3 or equivalent qualification
You will work in partnership with teachers within the EYFS as deployed by the Headteacher/designated representative to raise the learning and attainment of all pupils, including those with any identified special education need including EHCPs whilst also promoting their independence, self-esteem and social inclusion.
Appointments to the school are made with reference to the latest safeguarding guidance and Keeping Children Safe in Education and will involve additional safeguarding checks including DBS checks and references. Furthermore, the school may conduct online searches of publicly available information as part of due diligence with shortlisted applicants.
