1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant Position Available in Gloucestershire
A primary school in Gloucestershire is seeking a dedicated and compassionate 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant to support a pupil with special educational needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individualised support to a pupil with SEN, ensuring their educational and emotional needs are met.
- Assist in the implementation of personalised learning plans and strategies.
- Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to monitor and report on the pupil's progress.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Support the pupil in developing social skills and independence.
Requirements:
- Experience working with children with special educational needs.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting children with SEN.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Relevant qualifications or training in SEN support (desirable but not essential).
