-Plan and deliver inclusive, engaging lessons that meet learners’ needs and encourage independence

-Create a safe, supportive environment that promotes positive behaviour, respect and confidence

-Assess progress, give clear feedback, and keep accurate records to support learner achievement

-Work with colleagues and partners to remove barriers and support literacy, language and numeracy development

-Promote progression, helping learners build skills for everyday life, further study and employment

About You

-Experience teaching learners with additional needs, including SEND or disrupted education

-Experience delivering Functional Skills maths

-Teaching qualification (e.g. PGCE, CertEd, or equivalent)

-GCSE English and maths (grade C/4 or above) or equivalent
