Tradewind are currently recruiting enthusiastic Supply DT Teachers with a specialist in Food Technology to work in secondary schools, delivering engaging and practical lessons that make a real impact.
Salary:
140 - 260 per day PAYE (depending on experience and pay scale)

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver inspiring Design and Technology (Food Tech-focused) lessons to KS3 and KS4 students
- Adapt teaching methods to suit different classroom environments and learner needs
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively, fostering a calm and productive atmosphere
- Plan and prepare lesson resources when required
- Support students in developing practical skills, creativity, and confidence
- Work collaboratively with school staff to maintain high standards of teaching and learning
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent teaching qualification
- Strong subject knowledge in Design and Technology - Food Technology focus preferred
- A flexible and proactive attitude to working in a variety of school environments
- Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
- A passion for hands-on, student-cantered learning
