SEN Teacher – Gloucestershire
Class People are working with schools and specialist provisions across Gloucestershire to recruit SEN Teachers who can provide calm, consistent and personalised support to pupils with additional needs.
This role suits a teacher who understands that progress looks different for every child and who values inclusive, child-centred teaching.
The Role
You will be responsible for:
Teaching pupils with a range of SEN including ASD, ADHD, SEMH and learning difficulties
Planning and delivering adapted lessons
Implementing EHCP targets and supporting individual learning plans
Creating a structured, supportive and nurturing classroom environment
Working closely with teaching assistants, SENCOs and external professionals
Supporting pupils’ emotional regulation, confidence and wellbeing
Roles are available in special schools, mainstream SEN bases and alternative provisions.
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for teachers who:
Hold QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
Have experience working with children with additional needs
Are patient, adaptable and confident differentiating learning
Communicate well and work effectively as part of a team
ECTs with relevant SEN experience are welcome.
