SEN Teacher Required

Class People are currently recruiting passionate and dedicated SEN Teachers to work within specialist and mainstream schools across Gloucestershire.

We are looking for teachers who are committed to creating inclusive learning environments and supporting pupils with a range of additional needs. Whether you are an experienced SEN Teacher or a qualified teacher looking to transition into a specialist setting, we would love to hear from you.

About the Role

As an SEN Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons tailored to meet the individual needs of your pupils. You will work closely with support staff, SENCOs, and external professionals to ensure every child receives the support they need to thrive both academically and personally.

You may be supporting pupils with:

Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
ADHD
SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs)
Moderate and severe learning difficulties
Speech, language and communication needs
Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver differentiated lessons to meet individual learning needs
Create a positive, inclusive, and structured classroom environment
Monitor and assess pupil progress
Work collaboratively with Teaching Assistants, SENCOs, and parents
Develop strategies to support engagement, behaviour, and wellbeing
Contribute to EHCP targets and pupil development plans
What We're Looking For
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Experience working with pupils with additional needs is desirable
Strong classroom management and communication skills
A patient, adaptable, and resilient approach
A genuine passion for inclusive education and pupil success
