YR3/4 Part-Time Teacher

YR3/4 Part-Time Teacher

Outskirts of Cheltenham

A Lovely Part-Time Teaching Opportunity

Class People is working closely with a warm and welcoming primary school on the outskirts of Cheltenham looking for a caring, confident Year 3/4 Teacher to join them from Easter through to the Summer holidays.

This role would suit a teacher who enjoys building meaningful relationships with pupils and staff. The Year 3/4 class has just 11 pupils, allowing you to really focus on individual progress — and while there is a strong SEND focus, you’ll be supported by a collaborative and understanding team.

If you enjoy working in smaller settings where you can truly make a difference, this could be a wonderful fit.

Your Weekly Schedule

Monday & Tuesday: Teaching a Year 3/4 class as part of a supportive job-share

Wednesday (9–11am, flexible): Planning alongside the Year 3/4 teaching team

Thursday: Teaching within the Year 3/4 provision

Planning time is paid and can be completed in school or at home, with flexibility agreed with the team.

What You’ll Be Doing

Delivering engaging lessons to a mixed Year 3/4 class

Supporting pupils with a range of SEND needs with patience and creativity

Working closely with a job-share teacher and friendly staff team

Contributing to planning and pupil progress discussions

Helping with annual reports — shared across the team, with only a small number of pupils
