Salary: MPS/UPS (in line with experience and pay scale)

Class People are proud to be working with a friendly and inclusive primary school on the outskirts of Gloucester, seeking a Part-Time Year 5 Teacher to join their team from January 2026 until July 2026.
This role is perfect for teachers who enjoy the challenge and creativity of Key Stage 2 teaching but are looking for a balanced, part-time working week (Wednesday to Friday).
The school has a warm, supportive atmosphere, a dedicated leadership team, and a strong community ethos, making it an ideal environment for both Early Career Teachers (ECTs) and Experienced Teachers.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver engaging and creative lessons to Year 5 pupils across the Key Stage 2 curriculum
Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment
Work collaboratively with colleagues and teaching assistants
Track pupil progress and provide constructive feedback
Follow safeguarding and school behaviour policies
Requirements
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Recent or relevant experience teaching within Key Stage 2, ideally Year 5
Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
Enthusiastic, flexible, and committed to high standards
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
