Class Teacher

Stroud

Start Date – ASAP

Based at – Callowell Primary School

We are looking for a highly skilled class teacher that has the skillset to deliver high quality
teaching and learning in KS2 classes. The position will also hold subject leadership
responsibilities across the school. A full induction programme will be in place to not only prepare
you for your teaching role but also ensure that you are fully equipped to take on and lead a given
subject across the school.

Hours – Full time
Start Date – Summer Term or September 2024 (For the right candidate)

Callowell Primary School comprises of five classes from YR - Y6 which is complimented with a
thriving preschool school called 'Jumping Beans' and a before and after school provision known as
'Sunbeams'.

The school joined CBAT (Cotswold Beacon Academy Trust) on the 1st July 2023 with a new
leadership team in place. CBAT and the school's leadership team know how important it is to
employ the right people in the right jobs especially when the school is on an improvement journey
and it's definitely heading in the right direction!

We need teachers that will thrive in a working environment that encourages an ethos of learning
together through high quality training and practices in order to provide our children with a rich
curriculum that enables them to excel.

The Class Teacher will be responsible for the delivery of National Curriculum to a high standard and
excels in literacy and numeracy.
