Exciting KS1 Teaching Opportunity in Stroud

Class People are working with a welcoming primary school in Stroud seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic KS1 Teacher to join their team from January until the end of the academic year.

This is a full-time teaching position in a mixed Year 1 and Year 2 class, offering the chance to make a lasting impact on young learners within a supportive and inclusive school environment.

The school has a strong community ethos and values creativity, collaboration, and a nurturing approach to education. They are open to applications from both Experienced Teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs).

Key Responsibilities

Plan and deliver engaging, creative lessons across the KS1 curriculum

Assess and track pupil progress to ensure positive outcomes

Foster a supportive, stimulating, and inclusive classroom environment

Work collaboratively with colleagues and support staff

Uphold the school’s safeguarding, behaviour, and curriculum policies

Requirements

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

Experience teaching within KS1 (Year 1 and/or Year 2)

Strong classroom management and communication skills

Passionate about delivering engaging learning experiences

Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
