Year 2 Class Teacher – Stroud

Start Date: September 2025 (or sooner if available)
Contract: Full-Time, Long-Term (with potential to become permanent)
Salary: MPS/UPS (paid to scale)

Class People are seeking a passionate and motivated Year 2 Teacher to work with one of our welcoming and well-resourced primary schools in the Stroud area. This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic educator who is committed to delivering high-quality teaching and creating positive learning experiences for KS1 pupils.

About the Role

As the successful candidate, you will:

Deliver engaging and creative lessons in line with the Year 2 curriculum

Support pupils in achieving their personal and academic goals

Use effective behaviour management and pastoral strategies

Work collaboratively with school staff and Class People to ensure consistency and support

Maintain high standards of planning, assessment and classroom organisation

What We’re Looking For

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

Experience teaching in KS1, ideally Year 2

A positive, adaptable and proactive approach

Strong communication skills and a genuine passion for teaching

The ability to inspire confidence and build rapport with children
