• support the strategic development of SEND across the school, including contributing towards the SDP and managing appropriate policies
• provide / arrange training opportunities for colleagues
• ensure all members of school staff understand their role in fulfilling their statutory responsibilities to pupils with SEND
• identify resources required to meet the needs of pupils with SEND
• oversee the work, professional development and appraisal of Teaching Partners across the school
• manage the SEND budget, in collaboration with the Headteacher
• work closely with staff, families and external agencies to support pupils with a range of needs
• drive forward our inclusive ethos, ensuring every child can thrive and succeed
• monitor progress, support high-quality teaching and ensure effective use of resources
As a class teacher, you will:
• deliver engaging, high-quality lessons
• create a nurturing and stimulating classroom environment

We are looking for someone who:

• opportunities for professional growth and career development
• a supportive and forward-thinking leadership team
• a committed team of staff and governors who are passionate about children’s development and learning
• a culture that prioritises wellbeing and work-life balance
