About the Role

The Adult Transformation Team is looking for 2 full time Project managers

The key responsibility for the first role will be delivering the councils plans for building 3 new Care homes in the county.

The second will be delivering a variety of service re-design projects, supporting the council to achieve our new target operating model for delivery of services which focus on Preventing, Reducing and Delaying care needs, enabling people to stay safe and independent at home for as long as possible.

As the Project manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of care delivery by ensuring that the voices of care providers, staff, residents, and the wider community are embedded in the design processes.

You will develop and maintain the project documentation and provide support and advice to the project board and other governance bodies as required.  

You will establish and manage a Co-Production Design Group and lead innovative engagement activities, including for the Care Home builds, a community-led naming initiative involving local schools and residents.

Key Responsibilities

• Apply project and programme management tools and techniques to support the development and maintaining of all project documentation.
• Produce and present reports to assist the manager and board in monitoring and evaluating progress
• Identify and engage key stakeholders including care providers, staff, residents, families, and community groups.
• Establish and facilitate a Co-Production Design Group to inform and support the design process.
• Organise and deliver workshops, focus groups, and community events to gather input and feedback.
• Lead a community-wide initiative to name the new care home(s), involving local schools and residents.
• Maintain clear and consistent communication with all stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
• Work closely with the build project manager to deliver the overall project objectives (Care home build role).
• Act as a change agent, delivering outcomes through others using communication, influence and engagement
• Identify and utilise data to inform decision making
  
  

About You

You will have:

• Proven experience in stakeholder engagement, community development, or co-production.
• Experienced in project management and the use of a variety of project management tools and processes
• Excellent communication and facilitation skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively across diverse groups.
• Passionate about inclusive design and improving care outcomes.
• Creative and proactive in developing engagement strategies.
