Internal Quality Assurer (IQA) Health & Social Care - IQA HSC

Bridge Training Ltd is a small independent training provider based in the centre of Gloucester delivering accredited vocational qualifications alongside Maths and English to students aged between 14-19. We know that, due to a variety of personal barriers, mainstream schools and colleges can be daunting for some young people to thrive in, so at Bridge Training we do things a little different. Since 1989 we’ve been creating an alternative educational path for young people in Gloucestershire, helping and supporting them achieve their next steps in life. We deliver a range of vocational qualifications alongside Maths and English in an intimate, flexible and learner centred environment. We are committed to delivering quality learning opportunities to small classes, ensuring that Teachers can differentiate the learning on offer.
We are currently looking for an Internal Quality Assurer (IQA) in Health & Social Care
Contract: Freelance position.
Salary: Negotiable
Expectation: The IQA role requires a highly professional candidate who values the high standards Bridge Training have for their qualifications. You will be required on an ad hoc basis usually 3 visits per year plus standardisation meetings.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, organise, and conduct internal quality assurance verification monitoring activity within our centre for L1 – L2 HSC Qualifications
- Produce full and accurate verification reports
- Attendance in standardisation events and meeting required CPD
- Work with our designated exams officer to ensure your understanding of the role, responsibilities and allocation.
Essential Criteria
- Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
- Professional qualification in the areas of Health and Social Care and Childcare
- Assessor, IQA Award Qualification or quality assure qualifications between levels 1 to 5
- In-depth knowledge of qualification structures, we currently use NCFE as our awarding body.
- Adequate IT skills and the ability to work within our centre when required.
