Office Administrator and Receptionist
Cheltenham
Overview
We are looking for a highly organised, professional, and proactive individual to join our team as an Office Administrator and Receptionist. As an Office Administrator and Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our clients, visitors, and staff, providing outstanding customer service while maintaining the smooth operation of our office. You will be responsible for a variety of administrative tasks, ensuring the office runs efficiently and supporting team members with daily operations.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Greet visitors and clients in a friendly and professional manner.
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls and emails.
- Manage office supplies and equipment, including ordering stock and coordinating maintenance.
- Maintain and organise office filing systems, both physical and digital.
- Handle and distribute incoming and outgoing post.
- Schedule appointments, meetings, and conference calls.
- Assist with general administrative duties such as data entry, document preparation, and correspondence.
- Provide support for the management team as required.
- Ensure the reception area is tidy, welcoming, and presentable at all times.
- Assist with basic HR functions, such as onboarding new employees and maintaining employee records.
Essential:
- Previous experience in an administrative or receptionist role.
- Strong organisational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and basic office equipment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Professional and courteous demeanour.
- A proactive, "can-do" attitude
- Previous experience in a similar industry is a plus.
