Trainee Commercial Recruitment Consultant

Pertemps is looking for a motivated Trainee Commercial Recruitment Consultant to join our Gloucester team. This is an exciting opportunity to start your career in recruitment, gain commercial insight, and develop your skills in a supportive, fast-paced environment.
Salary: £25,397- £26,397 + uncapped commission
Hours: Monday to Friday, 07:30-16:30 & 08:30-17:30
Location: Elmbridge Court, Gloucester
Are you ambitious, enthusiastic, and ready to build a rewarding career in commercial recruitment? As a Trainee Commercial Recruitment Consultant at Pertemps, youll work with a variety of commercial clients, developing relationships, matching candidates to roles, and contributing to the growth of the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and candidates across all stages of recruitment
- Match candidates to commercial roles, ensuring satisfaction for both clients and candidates
- Support payroll, compliance, and pre-employment checks accurately
- Identify new business opportunities and support service delivery
- Contribute to achieving branch and individual targets through proactive service
To be successful:
- Positive, proactive, and enthusiastic attitude
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Experience in a customer-facing or sales role
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
- Knowledge of employee rights, equality, diversity, and inclusion is a plus
- Ideally, a valid UK driving licence
