Golf Retail Assistant

Gloucester

Seasonal Contract (March – October. Potential to extend to permanent role)

Overview

Gloucester Golf Club offers a superb range of facilities, both on and off the course. Our 18 hole, par 70, championship course is set in a beautiful location, overlooking Gloucestershire’s picturesque countryside. We are committed to providing an unparalleled golfing experience.

We are currently seeking a passionate and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Golf Shop Retail Assistant.

If you have a love for golf, excellent communication skills, and a knack for delivering outstanding customer service, we invite you to be a part of our dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner
• Provide product knowledge and recommendations to customers based on their needs and preferences.
• Achieve sales targets by actively promoting and selling golf equipment, apparel, and accessories.
• Assist in maintaining a well-organised and visually appealing golf shop layout.
• Monitor and replenish inventory, ensuring products are adequately stocked and displayed.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with customers to encourage repeat business.
• Maintain, clean and organise buggies
