Social Media and Digital Marketing Coordinator

Seeking a highly creative and motivated marketing & sales professional to join our team as Social Media and Digital Marketing Co-ordinator

What do we want?
A brilliant opportunity for an enthusiastic Social Media and Digital Marketing Co-Ordinator interested in joining an established events production business working with global award-winning brands and immersive seasonal events.
About the role:
You will be working as a key member of the team at our HQ in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire. Located in the village of Bentham, our facilities include: offices, meeting rooms, workshop, outdoor working spaces, and an old orchard and paddock for that lunchtime walk or thinking space.
Duties will include, but are not exclusive to:
- Create, oversee and implement marketing and social media strategies for Tarren Production, Tarren Events (Winter Glow) and Furniture by Tarren, with a primary focus on our in-house seasonal events programme.
- Plan and execute an integrated and targeted digital marketing and PPC ad campaign for our seasonal events programme with a ticket sales target of £1.2m+
- Support the budgeting process to accurately monitor spend and ROI.
- Complete control of social media accounts for both Tarren Production, Winter Glow and Furniture Hire including regular content updates in line with marketing campaigns, building online relationships with local companies and clients, responding to DMs. - platforms include Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Pinterest, TikTok and YouTube.
- Website Maintenance and Content Manager (blog posts, case studies, competitor research, keeping product info up to date). Be proactive in collecting and creating content. Involve colleagues in coming up with ideas, and actively seek feedback or suggestions.
- Create and implement regular Mailchimp newsletters across all brands.
- Manage multiple activities and campaigns across different channels and platforms.
- Design sales decks as requested by other teams and departments.
About you:
You will have experience in social media and be able to show evidence of past PPC campaigns within the hospitality, events or show industry.
We are looking for an innovative and creative individual to join our marketing and new business activity, focusing on our seasonal event programme, and developing our events brands via social media, websites and digital advertising.
- Very good knowledge and experience in social media creation, organic and paid social advertising.
- Budget management skills.
- Ability to write effective and engaging marketing communications for multiple
- platforms, outlets and audiences.
- Ability to thrive in dynamic environment, creative and analytical with a flair for content generation and design.
- Knowledge of Wordpress, Mailchimp, Canva And Google Ads would be ideal.
- An excellent team player and networker.
The Important bit:
Location: Based in our office in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire. (also on location at events where necessary, and will involve some evening and weekend hours, especially around our Winter events).
Contract: Full time, 40 hours / week. (6 month initial probationary period).
30 days annual leave (inc bank holidays), company Pension.

Salary: Negotiable dependent on experience, skill set & previous targets Circ £26k - £29k
Social Media and PPC advertising experience is preferred, however candidates with only social media experience will also be considered.
