Longlevens Primary Federation is made up of Longlevens Infant School, Longlevens Junior School and Playdays Early Years.

We are a large organisation on the outskirts of the city of Gloucester and serve the community of Longlevens and its environs. The schools are on separate sites about 500 metres from each other. We have over 870 children in our care. Playdays is on the Junior School Site in Church Road Longlevens. The Junior School Hub Club provides wrap around care, in a safe, caring and fun environment for up to 60 children daily from across the Federation. The Infant School also provides wrap around care on its own site for approximately 30 children.

We are looking for a warm, nurturing and motivated Play Assistant to work primarily at the Junior School’s Breakfast Club daily from 7.30 to 9.00 am term time only.

There will be opportunities for additional sessions at both the Infants and Juniors Wrap Around care provisions, including the possibility of some sessions in the school holidays. The ideal candidate will be a good team player, who is able to foster positive relationships with the children and their families and other members of staff. The successful applicant will have a warm smile, will be patient and innovative and is passionate about providing high quality childcare.
