Science Technician (Chemistry)

The Science Department at Pate’s is dedicated to fostering curiosity, innovation and an environment
where students are encouraged to explore the wonders of science.

Our team of Science Technicians play an integral role in supporting our students and working with our
teachers to enable them to deliver high quality, engaging teaching, in our excellent purpose-built facilities.
Reporting to: Head of Department
Responsible for: Not applicable
Salary: Salary Scale Point 5 – 7
(£24,790 - £25,584 FTE with a pay award pending. Please note this is the full time, full year salary. Actual salary will be based on the number of hours to be worked, term time only).

Contract type: Temporary to 7 July 2027, with a potential to apply for further opportunities if desired.
Hours: Full time or part time opportunities available, term time only. Please state in your application whether you would be looking for full time or part time work and the amount of hours you would be looking for.
