IT Support Technician - 2nd Line

£26,000 - £32,000

A well established technology client is seeking a new 2nd Line IT Support Technician to join their team. They are looking for an individual who is hungry to learn, has a passion for technology and an analytical mind.

Responsibilities:

Technical assistance, such as proactive monitoring, problem-solving, and security operations.

Assistance with customer projects, including remote and on-site assistance for new installs and deployments.

Finishing up planned updates and maintenance.

Overseeing and assisting with internal systems.

Cooperating closely with the first-line support team to address customer concerns when they become more serious.

Manage third-party suppliers.

Skills/ Experience:

Previous experience in an IT Infrastructure Support role, ideally within a MSP environment.

Customer service focused and able to communicate effectively with customers at all levels.

Strong communication skills, ability to communicate technical information at all levels.

Motivated, positive attitude and comfortable working in a team or alone.

Good work ethic and a flexible approach to working hours due to demanding business environment
