Permanent The English Department at Pate’s is dedicated to fostering passion for reading, writing and a love of literature, igniting creativity and critical thinking within our students. The team are passionate about literature and teaching, bringing a wealth of knowledge and enthusiasm to the classroom. Students in Years 7 to 9 are taught in their forms, with students in Year 10 split into six teaching groups. The Eduqas syllabus is currently followed for English Language and English Literature at GCSE, and OCR at A Level for English Literature.
