Do you have a passion for numbers? Do you love teaching numeracy? Are you an innovative tutor looking to share your love of numeracy with Gloucestershire’s diverse communities? Then we are looking for you!

Our exciting Multiply Programme is tasked with upskilling our adult population math’s abilities and is seeking Tutors to deliver numeracy courses. The Multiply team is looking for Tutors who can help learners identify how maths is an integral part of our everyday lives and in doing so help build learner confidence and an interest in the subject. We are looking for individuals who will inspire our learners, raise their numeracy confidence, break down barriers to learning, with a view to encouraging learners to progress into more formal learning.

Multiply courses deliver numeracy skills through various community, employability and ESOL courses both face to face and online. We have courses in fitness, health and wellbeing, gardening, shopping, budgeting, becoming self-employed and maths… Can you weave maths into other subjects to make them fun and engaging? Are you up for the challenge of helping learners love maths? If yes then we want to hear from you!

Our vacancies offer above industry rates of pay for contact delivery hours and course administration.

Essential Criteria:

Teaching Qualification

Minimum 1 year’s teaching experience delivering:

Numeracy / Maths course
Passionate and performance-driven to motivate and support the achievement of qualifications
Excellent time management, organisational and communication skills

Desirable Criteria:

Experience of teaching employability
The ability to travel to locations within Gloucestershire
