Head of Geography

Stroud

Based at – Marling School

We are looking for a Head of Geography to join our talented and supportive team at Marling
School. We are a thriving Multi-Academy Trust with a strong collective identity working together
to generate and celebrate success within our communities. Can you bring the ambition,
professionalism and drive necessary to support our pupils to achieve their utmost potential?

Start Date – Easter 2024

The study of Geography is very popular within the school at both GCSE and A Level.

The successful candidate will:

• Have a passion for Geography and the ability to inspire both staff and students.
• Have experience of successful teaching of Geography to at least GCSE.
• Have the ability to teach Geography at A Level.
• Continue to raise achievement through high quality teaching and learning within the department, informed by internal and external data.
• Contribute to whole school improvement and self-evaluation.

Salary: Full Time Equivalent Salary – MPS/UPS TLR 2.2 £5,397pa
