Based at - Marling School

We are looking for a Teacher of Geography to join our talented and supportive team at Marling School. We are a thriving Multi-Academy Trust with a strong collective identity of working together to generate and celebrate success within our communities. We wish to appoint a dynamic and inspirational Teacher of Geography to work with our Head of
Geography and the Geography Team in taking the department on to even greater success.
Geography is a popular and successful subject within the School, with numbers for both GCSE and
A Level being consistently high.

The successful candidate will:
• Have a passion for teaching Geography and the ability to inspire both staff and students.
• Have experience of teaching Geography to GCSE, and the ability to teach Geography to A Level.
• Insist on a commitment from all young people to achieve success, and will have the ability to motivate students with a focus on maximising attainment.
• Have outstanding subject knowledge and an awareness of current developments in Geography teaching.
• Be fully committed to a strong safeguarding culture across the School.
