We are looking for an inspirational Teacher of Science with a passion for delivering excellent educational experiences for our students. You will have the opportunity to use your subject expertise to play a key role in championing the success and life chances of all children in our trust. About you
You will be:
a qualified teacher or hold an equivalent teaching qualification, with strong subject knowledge in Science.
able to deliver the Science curriculum and consistently teach high-quality lessons across relevant key stages, fostering curiosity and a love of scientific learning.
able to meet the needs of learners from key identified groups, including pupil premium, looked-after children, SEND, EAL, and high-attaining students.
a strong communicator with the ability to embrace change, motivate colleagues and build positive relationships with students, staff and parents.
able to recognise, value and support opportunities beyond the classroom, contributing to enrichment, STEM activities, clubs, trips and wider experiences that enhance students’ science learning.
empowered to develop your own expert practice and support the growth of others within the Science team and wider academy.
highly competent in all elements of the Teachers’ Standards, with achievements and contributions that are substantial and sustained if applying as an Upper Pay Scale teacher.
