GYMNASTICS COACH - Part time
Forest of Dean
The Forest of Dean Gymnastics Centre is keen to appoint an enthusiastic, friendly and motivating Level 2+ General or Artistic Gymnastics coach. You will share our passion for working with children, have high standards and be able to provide quality and safe Gymnastics sessions for children of all ages and abilities.
You will have the opportunity to work in a fantastic, purpose-built Gymnastics & Fitness facility fully equipped for gymnastics at all levels as part of our friendly coaching team. The Club offers general and competitive classes as well as pre – school and schools classes.
This position is for 3 evenings and one morning a week initially, during term time, although more hours may be available in the near future. There is the possibility of further responsibility for the right person.
You will be joining a friendly, committed team of coaches. Uniform will be provided and training supported.
You should have an outgoing personality, be a good communicator with a good command of English and have competent coaching skills. Reliability and punctuality are essential along with a willingness to be flexible.
The rate of pay is dependent on experience and qualification.
Requirements
- Coaches are required to be members of British Gymnastics.
- You will have attended / intend to take a Safeguarding Children in Sport course and hold an enhanced DBS.
- You will have at least 1 year’s experience working at the level of your qualification. Coaches are expected to work and communicate effectively as part of a close team to run classes and support the Club.
- A First Aid qualification is desirable.
