Sports Centre Supervisor - 0803244

Role description: Sports Centre Supervisor
Reporting to: Sports Facilities Manager
Purpose:
Opening and closing the sports centre as required, and supervising sporting activities
Ensuring the correct use of the facilities within the Sports Centre
Key Tasks:
- Organise appropriate practice of skills development.
- Instruct correct use of equipment and other skills required for particular sports.
- Ensure appropriate health and safety requirements are adhered to.
- Carry out administrative duties as directed by the Sports Facilities Manager.
- Consult with the Sports Facilities Manager on individual pupils and co-operate in any agreed courses of action.
- Alert the Sports Facilities Manager to problems experienced by pupils.
- Be responsible for the condition of the teaching space used and report any damage to fixtures or fittings to the Sports Facilities Manager.
- Assist the Sports Facilities Manager in identifying resource needs and contribute to the efficient/effective use of resources.
Additional Tasks:
- Understand and comply with the College’s Safeguarding Policy and comply with its requirements to safeguard and protect the welfare of children.
- Understand and comply with the College’s Health and Safety Policy Statement.
- Understand and comply with the College’s GDPR and Data Protection Policy.
- Work with administrative staff to provide information requested by them for the efficient management of Wycliffe’s financial and other administrative purposes to support the effective pursuit of Wycliffe’s educational and pastoral goals.
- Undertake any other key tasks which the Head of College and/or the Chair of the Council of Trustees may reasonably assign.
Terms of Appointment
This is a zero-hours contract, the salary is £10.42 per hour.
