Experienced Warehouse Operative
Cheltenham
Busy, well established, family run cable distributor requires full time experienced warehouse operative.
Hours 8.30 am - 5.00 pm Monday to Friday. One hour for lunch.
Duties include:
- Picking & packing orders.
- Operating counterbalance & narrow aisle forklift trucks. (Training will be given if you don't have a
- licence)
- Winding cable onto reels to the customers' requirements.
- Handling both incoming and outgoing deliveries.
- Plus, other general warehouse duties.
You must be:
- Reliable and trustworthy
- Hard working, physically fit, and comfortable with heavy lifting.
- Able to work as part of a team.
- Capable of maintaining attention to detail.
Previous warehouse experience not essential but would be welcome.
Existing forklift licence preferable, but not essential.
Starting salary - £10.42/hr rising to living wage once 3 months’ probation is successfully completed.
Monthly target / accuracy bonus scheme, and opportunity for overtime.
