Forklift Driver/Warehouse Operative - ESS6434Y
Yate
LOCATION: Yate
START DATE: As soon as possible
PAY: £11.50-12.00 per hour
PERMANENT
WORKING HOURS: 8.00am to 5.00pm (flexibility required)
VACANCY – FORKLIFT DRIVER WAREHOUSE OPERATIVE
ESS Employment Ltd are recruiting a Forklift Driver/Warehouse Operative to work for a client in Yate with a growing order book.
Duties will include the following:
• Operating of machinery (training provided)
• Safely operate a forklift to move materials and products throughout the warehouse.
• Load and unload materials and products from trucks, trailers, and storage areas, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Inspect materials and products for damage or defects, reporting any issues to the appropriate personnel.
• General warehouse duties ensuring environment is clean, organised and hazard free
• Working within a team in a busy environment
• Adhere to company policies and procedures, as well as health and safety regulations, to ensure a safe and compliant work environment.
Requirements:
• Valid forklift operator certification/license.
• Proven experience operating a forklift in a warehouse or industrial setting.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in performing tasks.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team.
