Retail Supervisor

About The Role
We have an exciting opportunity for an engaging and proactive Retail Supervisor to join our busy trading team at WWT Slimbridge Wetland Centre.
The successful applicant will work alongside our Retail Manager to develop an inspirational and vibrant trading environment that provides an excellent visitor experience.
You will work to maximise sales, consistently delivering or exceeding against agreed targets to generate profit that supports the conservation work of WWT. You will also support our team members within the department, championing great customer service.
This role will work 13.5 hours a week, 2 days out of 7. Availability of working days will be discussed at interview although please note, some weekend working is essential.
About You
To join as our Retail Supervisor you'll bring:
- Experience of working in a customer facing retail environment and providing excellent customer service.
- Experience of working with high volume tills and understanding of EPOS systems.
- The ability to handle cash accurately.
- The skills of a great team leader.
- The ability to act independently under general work instructions and identify tasks which need to be carried out.
- Experience with visual merchandising
