Assistant Quantity Surveyor - 23643_223634442

Reed Construction are working with one of the leading retro fit eco specialists in Bristol.
With work across the UK, working with Local and Central Government, and Housing associations and private housing, they are experience growth and looking for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join their team.
Based mainly from the office in Bristol, as a quantity surveyor you will be partly responsible for developing project budgets and schedules. You will monitor and control costs throughout the project, recording variators when they occur.
This is a full-time office-based role.
Key Skills / Responsibilities you will learn on this job as you gain more experience is.
Produce project forecast including calculating project costs and cost / value reconciliations.
Estimating required material volume and costs, labour costs and other expenses.
Ensuring Gross Profit target is achieved across all projects.
Record any project variations and discuss with clients.
Produce monthly applications for payment to our customers
Monitor project progress on a weekly, monthly and annual basis.
Produce project reports showing timescale, profitability and progress.
Negotiating labour contracts with contractors.
Producing and reviewing project schedules
Monitoring and review subcontractors work and invoice processing.
Cost completed works, start billing process, and oversee payments.
