Job Title: Quantity Surveyor
Location: Bristol/Newport
Salary: Competitive DOE + Car Allowance + Fuel Card + Bonus Scheme
We're looking for an experienced and motivated Quantity Surveyor to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified professional with a strong background in construction, refurbishment, or void contracts to take full commercial responsibility for projects from inception through to completion.

What You'll Be Doing:
- Oversee and manage all financial and technical aspects of construction contracts
- Lead projects from start to finish, ensuring commercial success and contract compliance
- Measure, price, and evaluate tenders
- Maximise project value while minimising costs
- Manage cost planning, forecasting, and CVR reporting
- Identify margin improvement opportunities
- Produce and submit accurate applications for payment
- Administer subcontractor and supplier contracts
- Monitor project progress and ensure timely payments and collections
- Support health & safety compliance across all works
What We're Looking For:
- Relevant professional qualification (e.g. HNC/HND/Degree/Diploma or equivalent)
- Experience in construction, retrofit, refurbishment, or fabric upgrade projects preferred
- Strong knowledge of bills of quantities, schedules of rates, and design & build contracts
- Proven experience in commercial management and subcontractor procurement
- Confident in producing accurate monthly reports and financial forecasts
- Ability to work independently while supporting and collaborating with the wider team
- Strong time management and organisational skills
- Experienced in managing both direct and subcontract labour
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software
