Hotel Switchboard Operator

Cheltenham

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Switchboard Operator to join our friendly team. Based at the stunning 5* Ellenborough Park Hotel, and working as an integral part of the team.

As Switchboard Operator, you will accept, deliver and respond to guest enquiries, using your knowledge of the hotel facilities, services and the local vicinity to quickly respond to the customer. You will play a pivotal role in the booking of lunch, dinner, afternoon tea and pre visit calls to guests.

Previous experience not essential as full training will be given.

In your role you will contribute to the first impressions of our guests experience and therefore must perform the following tasks to the highest standards;

· Positively resolve any guest queries in a timely and efficient manner.

· Receive and deliver all messages correctly and promptly.

· Demonstrate knowledge of all hotel facilities and services and promote these offerings when appropriate.

· Demonstrate a high level of customer service at all times.

You must have;

· A positive attitude and great communication skills.

· A commitment to delivering a high level of customer service.

· The ability to work on your own and as part of a team.

Salary: £10.72 per hour

Hours Per Week: 16 hours per week
