We are looking for a Teaching Partner. This is a great time to be joining us as we’re amalgamating with nearby Moat Primary Academy on our site from 1st September 2025, so you’ll be part of our exciting journey. Our new school will be known as Hillside Primary School from September 2025, and we’ll be combining our resources, expertise and facilities to provide even greater educational opportunities for the local community for years to come.

Main responsibilities: 
- To provide general support to the class teacher in the management and organisation of the pupils and the classroom
- To assist the teacher in creating and maintaining a purposeful, orderly and supportive learning environment
- To promote the inclusion of all pupils, ensuring they have equal opportunities to learn and develop
- To be responsible for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children and young people within the school

You will need: 
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent training
- A range of strategies that support children’s learning
- To understand child development
- Motivation and initiative when following the teacher’s planning
- To work co-operatively and flexibly, and to show patience and understanding and respond appropriately to all children
- To assess and monitor a pupil’s progress and feed back to the class teacher
- To identify and prepare appropriate resources
- To attend to pupils' needs including social and health training
- To help children to thrive and enjoy learning
- A willingness to further develop personal practice
