Oakridge Parochial School is a small, friendly and dynamic village primary school in the heart of the Cotswolds. We are currently looking for an enthusiastic and committed HLTA to join our hard working and supportive team. The position will commence in September and will be based in our mixed age group class of Year 3, 4, 5 & 6 pupils. The post is for one full day and one morning, and will include leading the class for one afternoon during PPA time for the class teacher.
We are looking for someone who will
- Be passionate about supporting learning outcomes for pupils
- Have high expectations of pupil achievement and progress, and of pupil behaviour
- Be flexible in their approach, well organised, and prepared to work as part of a team
- Have a strong awareness of the social, emotional and wellbeing needs of young people
- Be able to work under the guidance of the class teacher, and school leaders
